London – Ciné Lumière

November 11, 2023 @ 16:45

In a theatre nearby, Fabrice Luchini recites Nietzsche. Both actors are premiering at the renowned Festival d’Avignon. When they leave backstage to stand out on stage, they are completely transformed. Director Benoit Jacquot, who’s worked numerous times with both Huppert and Lucchini, invites us behind the scenes to show how great actors inhabit a character and learn (or forget) their lines ahead and during live performances.
