Welcome to Short Cuts, our showcase of short films from rising stars in French and francophone cinema. The 2022 collection features seven films – some experimental, all arresting – with one César winner and other award winners and nominees from such festivals as Namur International Film Festival, Brussels Short Film Festival, Annecy International Animated Film Festival and FESPACO, Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) represented by Amani. Add to this mix an animation made by a group of 6-9 year old children, which warranted a Special Mention at the Anima Festival in Brussels and the first self-produced short by a new director. We promise you will be enthralled.
