The residents of an open hospital stage a play about the Beast of Gévaudan in Isabelle Prim's latest.

In the 18th century, during the reign of Louis XV, the Château de Saint-Alban is haunted by deadly attacks by a beast. Two centuries later, an asylum is transformed into an open hospital, where patients and caregivers stage a play about the beast each year. In this thought-provoking reinterpretation of the legend of the beast, Isabelle Prim navigates the thin limit between artifice and falsehood, between performance and real life, between insanity and ‘sanity’….
