Winner of the Best Canadian Feature Film at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, Sophie Deraspe’s inspiring film follows Mathyas, a burned-out advertising executive from Montreal, as he moves to Provence to become a shepherd. He is soon joined by Elise, a civil servant who quits her job to be with him and care for sheep. In the magnificent mountainous landscapes of Southern France, they are tasked to transport the herd to a grazing mountain near the Italian border…
