A man returns to his village for a funeral and stirs up considerable trouble.

The latest feature from the director of Stranger by the Lake stars Félix Kysyl as a man who returns to his French village and stirs up considerable trouble. Jérémie plans to attend the funeral of his former boss, the village baker. He decides to stay for a few days with Martine, the man’s widow. A mysterious disappearance, a threatening neighbour and a priest with strange intentions make Jérémie’s short stay in the village take an unexpected turn.

"Naturalistic performances reminiscent of Robert Bresson with the macabre humour and underlying suspense of Hitchcock." - The Hollywood Reporter
