Having been inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson for his last film Mrs. Hyde, Serge Bozon turns to literary figure Don Juan for this musical comedy-drama. Frequently slapped, punched or rejected, Rahim plays Laurent with the bemused anguish of a rake who may recognise his failings but seems unable to transcend them.
