This week sees two exciting new French films hit UK cinemas. The line-up includes Deerskin which stars Jean Dujardin and Adèle Haenel, who starred in French Film Festival UK 2019 hit Portrait of a Lady on Fire. Read on to find out more.

 


 

Deerskin / Le Daim

 

Georges (Jean Dujardin), is a man whose one obsession is his designer deerskin jacket which cost his life savings. With his relationship with his wife in tatters, and in love with the jacket, Georges retreats to a remote mountain village where he can actually wear the coat of his dreams.
