The Festival team wishes all those who were involved in the 19th French Film Festival a properous New Year: the 2011 programme attracted record audiences.

A Lebanese-born and Paris-based director, Danielle Arbid, has just been notified that her latest film Beirut Hotel cannot be shown in the country where it was filmed last year.
 
Its release in Beirut, orginally scheduled for 19 January 2012, has just been cancelled.
