Screening of Corporate at Edinburgh Filmhouse

Screenwriter Nicolas Fleureau was a corporate man, working in France for Virgin before he saw the light and extricated himself from the company, aggravated by his strong union ideals. Last night at Filmhouse for the Scottish premiere of Corporate in French Film Festival UK he revealed in conversation with FFF director Richard Mowe how “management with terror” intrigued both him and his co-writer and director Nicholas Silhol. They were also shocked by the spate of suicides at France Telecom. Fleureau noted that Hitchcock was an influence in creating a suspenseful atmosphere around the social concerns.
