Made in France (18)

madeinfranceThis darkly atmospheric shock-thriller takes you on a white-knuckle ride inside a cell of homegrown extremists dedicated to bringing jihad to the streets of Paris. Sam is a Franco-Algerian journalist hoping to write a tell-all exposing the threat of domestic terrorism. Using his knowledge of Islam, he infiltrates a small cadre of extremists led by Hassan, a disgruntled shoe salesman. Originally due for release early last year, it was first withdrawn after the Charlie Hebdo shootings and again after the 13 November attacks. Not seen before in French or, indeed, British cinemas.
