Our pick of this year’s Ed Film Fest At Home

Ed Film Fest At Home and Curzon Home Cinema have just launched their online festival – bringing cinema straight to your sofa.

We’ve had a look through the listings and come up with our favourites that we think you’ll enjoy. Included in the line up is Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne’s Young Ahmed, which we screened as part of the 2019 French Film Festival.

The Festival runs until 5 July and all films are being streamed at Curzon Home Cinema. To rent your film of choice, just click on the “watch” button on the dates listed.

The Dardenne brothers, present-day doyens of social realist cinema, take a lean and gripping look at religious fundamentalism through the story of a 13-year-old boy, driven to a horrific act after taking to heart an extremist interpretation of the Qu’ran espoused by an imam operating out of the stock room of the local corner shop.
